Causes I Love to Support

The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada seeks to provide a safe refuge for animals that have been removed from previous neglectful situations. Vastly differing from a zoo, this sanctuary preaches the welfare of animals, and seeks to educate the public on common myths of these beautiful animals.

With their motto encompassing a ‘home away from home', Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to stay while their children face life-threatening illnesses in a nearby hospital. These houses are more than just a place to stay, they provide support, entertainment, and most of all keep families together. The role that family plays in children’s healing journeys truly is remarkable.

The Children’s Breakfast Club is based on the ideology that every single child in Canada should be entitled to a nutritious breakfast. I have been a long-time partner with this not-for-profit and the work they do is nothing but amazing! Let's fill those kiddos' bellies one meal at a time!

Camp Ooch allows children with cancer to experience the joys of sleepover camp in a safe setting equipped with oncologists. Being outdoors allows these kids to get away from the hospital and take care of their emotional needs during such a turbulent time. For kids who are too ill to leave the hospital, Camp Oochigaes runs programs within Sick Kids Hospital. Giving parents a break, and children a chance to interact with kids going through the same battles is so very powerful and important!

Habitat for Humanity helps build homes for low-income families. Through this building process, it enriches the whole community and betters the lives of many! Statistics have shown that through these builds, it positively impacts the whole families mental and physical wellbeing! Catch me in a hard hat volunteering my time!
